To be completely honest, I haven't been a big fan of the whole blog deal. I talked to a good friend who left on the mish not long ago and he told me he hated blogs and I quote, "If you want to whine and complain or even if you want to talk about something you're excited for...just...talk. Or write in your journal. Don't complain to those anonymous subjects out there." I guess I let that get to me, cause it's kinda true. Why do we choose to sit and share our life stories over the internet when we can actually communicate with people FACE-2-FACE. Now, I know I probably seem like I'm going to lead into some epic countdown of when my ever-so-popular blog will be deleted but...I'm keeping my blog. Just because I still like it. Who listens to missionaries these days anyway? Bahahah just kidding. That's terrible. I take it back.
Well, as many of you know, I'm home from the land of the Orient. And those four months were the best of my life. I can't explain the joy I felt waking up every day knowing that I was making a difference. I loved my roommates, I loved the memories, I loved the people, I loved lily pond park, I loved Beijing, I loved the black markets, I loved Yangshuo, I loved walking everywhere, I loved buying cheap knock offs, I loved the food, I loved getting emails, I loved being missed, I love the atmosphere, I loved meeting new people, I loved not having any worries, I loved my kids, I loved...CHINA. And I can't wait to go back. I highly suggest China to everyone and anyone.
Well, for those of you still reading...I'm back in Utah. And I understand completely why I was so excited to come back. I love being near friends and family and back to everyday comforts. I've moved to the last place I ever wanted to move, but that was to be expected, right? Currently I reside in Orem Utah. But, I moved in with my cousin which is pretty freaking swell if you ask me. Me and my cousins and you and your cousins, it's a line that's always runnin. Ya dig? School is going great. I have a lot of free time, which kinda sucks considering everyone I know is either in Alpine, serving the mish, or at BYU. But, I've made a goal to make at least one new friend. Nice, right? I'm considering selling reality T.V rights to MTV or something. I'll call it, "COLLEGE: One girls quest for friendship"...I'll keep you updated.
Well, I'm kinda already bored with this post, as I can imagine anyone reading this is as well so...
